Rebecca Starr

Rebecca Starr is the Assistant to the Director for the ProTrack Professional Training Program at the New England Center for Circus Arts (NECCA) in Brattleboro, Vermont. She specializes in Contortion, Aerial Hoop, and Pole. Rebecca began her career in San Diego, CA in the early 2000s and has since toured the world, performing in tented shows, theatre productions, special events, galas, and more. She founded the aerial duo Lyralicious and played an integral role in the emerging world of Pole Fitness in the early 2010s, competing, performing, and judging internationally for several years.
As a master instructor, Rebecca has led workshops and residencies at circus schools, aerial studios, and pole studios worldwide. She choreographed for the Circus Smirkus Big Top Tour for six seasons and served as Head of Aerial Arts at Circadium School of Contemporary Circus in Philadelphia from 2020 to 2022.
Now, in her role at NECCA, Rebecca is deeply committed to supporting and shaping the next generation of professional circus artists—bringing together her global experience as a performer, coach, and choreographer. She is thrilled to join the West Coast Aerial Arts Festival this year and continue inspiring the artists of tomorrow.
