Aerial Arts America promotes creativity from all disciplines. This is why, even when choosing your music, supporting musicians is just as important as creating our own act – and absent sound, how would your act look like?
At the West Coast Aerial Arts Festival, your act has to be presented properly at all levels. Identifying, recognizing and giving credits to where it is due is important, just as seeking permission for the use of music is essential.
We do not pose as masters to this topic however, we want to share with you what we have found in our research, so you can be guided in your choice of music for your act.

Consist of mostly independent musicians, the music selection is not as popular however, there are quite a bit of music to choose from and surprisingly, covers a wide range of genre. Since Aerial Arts America subscribes to Epidemic Sound, we do have the permission to broadcast any music from their collection.
Here are other sources of royalty free music. Although these music platforms stem from our google search, we do not endorse them because we have not vetted them. We advise you to read through their guidelines to see if it will cover the broadcasting of their music at our festival.
If you will be using a copyrighted song for your act, you would need to provide us with proof of permission sought and/or obtained from the copyright holder/s.
How To Get Permission to Use a Song in a Film or Video
If your submission includes copyright music that has not been cleared, we shall not be responsible if your act is pulled out or has been disrupted by the streaming platform such as Youtube.
Although we do not have all the answers, our organization strives to provide solutions to these important questions and shall keep you updated.
